Round one of the New Zealand 2011-2012 Paragliding Nationals is to be held from 21-28 January 2012 in the South Island location of Nelson.
The FAI Cat 2 competition is also the Nelson Paragliding Open, and is open to certified paragliders, so EN D or below.
The entry fee is NZ$140, and you get a free event T-shirt if you register before 31 December 2011.
The Competition organisers will help to organise a pool of retrieve drivers for retrieve teams, each of which will need their own 4×4 vehicle. They say they are also putting together pricing for an optional transport service for visiting pilots, the cost and details of which will be announced on their website.
