Woody Valley have four new harnesses for the coming season:
The Voyager and Exense Airbag are due out at the end of the month, and the X-Over 3 and X-Alps 2007 are scheduled for the end of May.
The Voyager is Woody Valley’s lightweight reversible harness. The company describe it as a rucksack for comfortable carry-ups which becomes the airbag-equipped harness for safe, comfortable descents. Safety, lightness, low volume, comfort and versatility are the distinguishing features of this high-quality product.
Using light nylon and Cordura with a carbon seat plate the it weighs in at a slim 3.0 kg. It even has special hooks to stow away telescopic trekking poles. It fulfils the new requirements of the DHV and the European certifications.
The Exense Air harness was developed with beginners in mind. Simple and reliable, it can be adjusted by its clear “one-click” buckles. The AIRBAG, produced under license by Cygnus, provides exellent back protection including the upper back. These new developments fulfil the new requirements of the DHV and the European certifications.
The X-Over 3 is a competition and cross country harness, bearing many of the X-RATED 4 aerodynamic and aesthetic features, the inflatable tail in particular. Its elaborate geometry guarantees great passive safety even at full speed, and optimum control when flying in turbulence. It is available with a choice of 17 cm (DHV rated) back protection or with a smaller, lighter 12 cm version.
