MacPara’s new intermediate paraglider, the Muse 3, is undergoing certification for EN B. It has a second clip-in point for paramotor use.
The Muse 3, like its predecessor, uses E-lines in the centre of the canopy to help maintain the aerofoil shape and, MacPara say, add to the wing’s stability.
It has three more cells than the Muse 2 and a higher aspect ratio of 5.07 which gives it, the company say, a “sporty handling with light brake pressure, lighter than that of the Eden 4″. It also has a greater roll stability than the Muse 2, the company say.
The M and L sizes are certification tests and expected to achieve EN B. It will also be LTF-certified for paramotoring. Two other sizes will follow, completing a range that will cater for weights of 60 to 135 kg.
