Libert2fly have released a new trike, the Slalom. It weighs just 9kg and breaks down into five parts for easy transportation.
It is made of TIG-welded steel, with adjustable brackets allowing it to be fitted with almost any paramotor. The picture shows the trike with the powerful Polini Thor 250.
The front axle can be moved fore and aft to fit the pilot’s leg length. A certain amount of ‘give’ in the wheels is designed to absorb some of the impact of a harder landing.
Liberty2fly’s Carlos Lemos says:
This trike we have done thinking of the pilot, safety, the focus is very rigid but is intended to function as a fuse in case of a strong input is doubled, and if it is very strong, the wheels yield, absorbing a lot of energy.
A tandem version is available too.
