It’s an El Nino year – What’s going to happen Dad?

13 July, 2014

Honza Rejmanek's weather

It’s an El Nino year, so what does that mean for free flight sites around the world? Hotter in Brazil or wetter? Dryer in Australia or windier? Where’s the best place to go to take advantage of the upside – and where to avoid to stay away from the down?

Honza Rejmanek is Cross Country’s meteorologist and writes every year on weather issues that specifically affect hang glider and paraglider pilots. He’s all about making you fly better.

As well as pro meteorologist Honza is an outstanding paraglider pilot – he’s got three four Red Bull X-Alps under his belt and as a Californian pilot is often to be found flying the high skies around Tahoe.

Not only that he’s a Dad. Here’s a photo of him and his number one son during last year’s Red Bull X-Alps.
