They say it’s “engineered to elevate your paragliding experience with cutting-edge features and unparalleled precision”.

There are also no additional subscription fees, add XC Tracer. “All these advanced features come without any ongoing costs, ensuring a seamless experience.”

“Designed and manufactured in Switzerland, the Maxx III reflects the meticulous quality and reliability synonymous with Swiss engineering,” say XC Tracer.
XC Tracer partnered with a Japanese company known for its expertise in electronics and invested significant resources to develop “a custom Memory-in-Pixel (MIP) screen that’s 64% larger than our Maxx II and features 250 DPI”. The display is an 800×660, 250-dpi black-and-white screen, ensuring clear readability even in direct sunlight.
The topographical view includes “dynamic hillshading” that adapts to the sun’s orientation, offering a detailed view of the terrain and a helping guide for finding likely thermal triggers. “You can also gauge potential valley wind patterns, giving you an extra layer of situational awareness without cluttering your screen or taxing your battery.”
The XC Tracer Maxx III is available to pre-order with shipping anticipated to begin at the end of April.
