Phi’s lightweight EN-A, the Viola 2

Thursday 27 April, 2023

Phi’s new lightweight mountain wing, the Viola 2 is certified EN-A and is the lightweight version of the Sonata 2.

Phi say the Viola 2 retains the original’s playful nature, and it combines high energy with precise handling. At 2.45kg in the smallest size (16.2m² projected) it is slightly lighter than the original Viola.

Now with mini-ribs in the nose, it is entirely made from double-coated Porcher Skytex 27. Phi say version 2 is better in every way than the original: “better launch, better roll damping, better handling”.

Six sizes are certified EN A, with the 16, 18 and 20 having additional extended weight ranges (with EN C or EN B certification). Colour options are red, white or blue.
