Nova Aonic Light

Friday 17 February, 2023

The lightweight version of Nova’s high EN-A Aonic came out at the beginning of 2023. It’s 650g to 850g lighter than its sibling, weighing 3.4kg in the smallest size. It is available in four sizes from XXS to M.

The Aonic and its light sibling blend lightness, safety and ease of use. This makes them a versatile choice for training, local flying, cross-country, hike and fly and travelling.

The Light version is made from Porcher Skytex 27 on top and bottom surfaces, with Dominico 30D in the leading edge. The 12mm webbing risers are colour-coded and labelled with cues like ‘B-Stall’ and ‘Ears’. The main lines are sheathed and coloured according to the PMU recommendations.

The Aonic Light can be ordered with ‘Student’ risers with have wider 20mm webbing and adjustable brake handles to fit smaller hands.
