The adventure relay race saw several well known names from the X-Alps taking part, among them Chrigel Maurer, Simon Oberrauner, Tobi Grossrubatscher, Tommy Friedrich and Markus Anders among many amateur athletes.
Aaron was fastest in the paragliding leg – setting a new fastest time in the race’s history of 25m 41s. Tobi came second just under a minute later while Martin Stofner, one of Nova’s pilots of the year 2024, came third. Chrigel came in fourth.

Since 2023 women have participated in the race and four teams took part – although there were no separate prizes for female entrants and they weren’t recognised at the prize ceremony. Nonetheless, Elisabeth Kofler was fastest pilot and 25th overall out of a field of 100. Team Verleiht Flüüügel won the race, with their pilot, the rising star Elisa Deutschmann maintaining the lead from their mountain runner, Denisa Dragomir.
The overall win went to Kolland Topsport Elite consisting of the Kenyan runner Patrick Kipngeno, local pilot Martin Stofner, Brazilian mountain biker Uland Galinski and the Czech paddler Lukas Kubrican.

Red Bull Dolomitenmann is a unique format for paragliders – here the name of the game is getting to the landing field as fast as possible, to the waiting biker. After being handed the ‘baton’, athletes have to run to launch geared up, their (mini) wing neatly folded on their backs but ready to go.
Once in the air they have to land on the Moosalm. Where they then have to run 100m back up the hill to the next launch – carrying their wing – before launching again, landing in a sports stadium where they sprint with their wing bunched up to the team’s mountain biker.
Over the years the event has attracted the best hike-and-fly pilots around – as well as huge crowds lining the 70km courseline.
