Arthur Moindrot won the 2024 edition of Bornes to Fly. He finished what was his first supported hike-and-fly competition on the morning of day 2, just ahead of hike-and-fly world record holder Tanguy Renaud-Goud.

Bornes to Fly is an annual three-day hike-and-fly race which takes part in the Bornes, Aravis and Bauges ranges of the French Alps. The 2024 event was the 11th edition, and was held from 18-20 May. Of 101 pilots on the start line 83 made goal, including two of the three women.

When Melini Vinci of Italy finished the course on Monday morning (day 3), she was the third woman in the event’s history to complete the course. Zoe Moyaux of Belgium made that four when she crossed the goal line an hour later.
