Chrigel Maurer: One Day Coaching

Chrigel Maurer is one of the most complete paraglider pilots in the world. He has three Red Bull X-Alps wins under his belt, has been PWC Champion and Swiss Champion, held acro infinite tumble world records, has won numerous adventure races, and was even 2007 Swiss Hang Gliding Champion.

In issue 155 (Sept/Oct) of Cross Country magazine, we headed to Interlaken in the Swiss Alps to experience his unique One Day Coaching first hand.

Meeting at 9am at the bottom of the hill, Chrigel took us on a journey, through the mind, the air and the landscape of the Swiss Alps as he helped UK pilot Pat Dower to uncover powers he never knew he had, and tap into potential that was just waiting to be turned on.
