Windsriders Two-liner paragliding gloves

Mittens are a great option for cold fingers but if you’re flying a two-liner, grabbing a rear riser becomes rather difficult. The answer? Three-finger mittens that leave your index finger free. This pair come from French company Windsriders, known for their Nepal-made duvet jackets and over-mittens worn by the likes of Antoine Girard. 

Paragliding gloves have to stand up to a lot of abuse. I’ve been using these for a couple of months and so far there is no sign of wear. The gloves are made from synthetic material with goatskin leather used to reinforce the high-wear areas such as the inside of the palm and the sides of the finger and thumb. 

The gloves are quite thick as there is a layer of Thinsulate to help keep warmth in, but flexible enough to hold brakes. Like most gloves they are pre-shaped so you won’t be fighting...
