Chrigel Maurer has set a new world record for Infinite Tumbles. With an Advance acro glider he put 198 continuous rotations together over Grindelwald.
On Sunday morning 25 May, at 9am and from 3,500m Chrigel jumped from a helicopter above Grindelwald.
He then put his Advance acro wing through a series of 198 Infinite Tumbles to set a new world record.
While many people would have had to lie in a darkened room for the rest of the day, Chrigel then jumped onto his competition ship to take part in the 1st task of the PWC Grindelwald, finishing in a very credible 4th position!
More details soon and of course our congratulations to Chrigel!
