Windtech have released a new entry-level EN A wing, the Impulse.
Little sister to the Zephyr, the Impulse borrows some of its sibling’s design features: 3 risers, very few lines and a high arch, but Windtech say they have impoved the flight behavior over its predecessors, making it faster and more solid in turbulent air. The company say it has very easy nil-wind inflation characteristics with little tendency to overshoot even in stronger winds. In addition, they say, it has massive brake travel and is very forgiving even in the strongest thermals.
Windtech believe that this combination of performance and safety along with great longevity makes the glider a winner.
