Vote for Babu Sunuwar as National Geographic Adventurer of the Year
The two pilots who flew from the summit of Mount Everest earlier this year are up for an award from National Geographic magazine.

Babu Sunuwar and Lakpa Tseri Sherpa climbed and flew from the summit of Everest on 21 May 2011. They then flew 25km cross country to land near Namche Bazaar before spending the next six weeks hiking, flying and kayaking to sea level at the Bay of Bengal.
They have been nominated as Adventurers of the Year by National Geographic, one of the world’s best-known magazines.
There are 10 other teams in the running. Readers can vote for their favourite – we’re voting Babu! – at the National Geographic website.
Under the rules of the vote, you can vote once a day until 18 January 2012. The result will be revealed in February next year.
