UP are releasing the new EN B Makalu 4 for the 2016 season.
As the Makalu 3 was before it, UP say the Makalu 4 is an accessible and friendly EN B wing, ideal for newly qualified pilots to progress on, but faster and better performing than the 3.
It has a new planform with a slightly higher aspect ratio, and now sports trailing edge mini ribs. UP say their swept-back wingtips improve handling and stall characteristics.
Despite increases in speed and performance, stability in turbulence is still very good, UP say.
The Makalu 4 will be available in five sizes, for all-up weights of 55-130kg (certification pending) and a range of colours.
