Swing Stratus 7 breaking paragliding records

3 June, 2008

Three Swing pilots have achieved great flights aboard their Stratus 7s, Swing report.

Germany’s Erwin Auer flew 280.9km across the German flatlands on May 9th, in what Swing say is probably the longest paraglider flight ever in Germany. See his flight here.

Then on May 15th, FAI triangles of 237km and 229km were flown in the Swiss Alps by Alfredo Studer (Switzerland) and Günther Klaus (Germany), flying together from Fanas.

Turnpoints were in Klosters, the Oberalp Pass and the Churfürsten mountain range, then back to Fanas. Klaus has almost certainly set a new German FAI triangle record with this flight.
