Sky Paragliders and Drift merge

Two Czech manufacturers, Sky Paragliders and Drift Paragliders, have joined forces in a merger that was announced on 1 March 2024. 

Sky Paragliders are a long established brand who have been making paragliders since 1988. Drift Paragliders came on to the scene three years ago and saw success with gliders including the two-liner EN-C Merlin which was released last spring.

The new partnership will see Drift’s founders, Stanislav Klikar and Kryštof Klimpar, join Sky Paragliders’ R&D and marketing teams, bringing “an innovative touch and spirit” to the brand.

Sky say: “The philosophy and common interest is to promote paragliding as a safe and accessible sport using their experience in development and production. Both companies are optimistic that the partnership will enable them to provide customers with the best in paragliding.”
