Seed Eyewear sunglasses are made from bamboo: a sustainable, strong, lightweight natural material.
The Slovenian couple behind the company say their are passionate about the environment, and designed these fashion-conscious bamboo frames to prove that quality does not have to come at the cost of the planet.
They say the double-polarised lenses are of excellent quality, and the bamboo frames are strong and super-comfortable, with quality German hinges.
In addition to choosing a sustainable material for their glasses, Seed Eyewer also promise that five trees will be planted for every pair of sunglasses purchased.
They are looking for help to fund the first production run of their sunglasses. You can help by pre-ordering a pair of sunnies from their Indiegogo page at the special ‘early bird’ discount price of €50 (RRP will be €90) or just pledge a small amount, to help bring their project to life.
