Moyes introduce the RX Pro 2025

The wing offers "better sink rate and an enhanced maximum glide performance"

Moyes, the well known Australian hang glider manufacturer, have announced an update to the Litespeed RX Pro – their top level performance hang glider.

The top three pilots at the recent Forbes Flatlands all flew the newly updated Litespeed RX Pro 2025. The new “super elliptic” wing shape shifts more depth to the mid-wing, ensuring a better lift distribution and stall progression along the trailing edge, Moyes say.

This upgrade influences two key aspects including better glide performance and better climb with sharper handling. Moyes say: “With a slightly reduced overall size but maintaining the same wingspan, the RX’s aspect ratio is improved.

“This translates into a better sink rate and an enhanced maximum glide performance – subtle but noticeable improvements for those who value efficiency.

“By trimming off excess chord depth from the tip area handling becomes more agile, giving the pilot greater responsiveness and control in every manoeuvre. This allowed an increase in wing dihedral, which in turn leads to improved bank stability and a noticeably reduced demand for ‘high-siding’ in tight, slow turns,” they say.
