Winner of Cross Country magazine’s short film competition
Drumroll please… The winner of XC360, Cross Country magazine’s short film competition has been announced….
And the winner is:
Jefim Nikitin!
Jefim won with his heartfelt short film about early season flying in Lithuania.
He won the XCmag.com vote ahead of two others, and also won the Cross Country editors’ praise for story telling.
“I remember that feeling of going for my first big flights, and really wanting to make the milestones,” said XCmag’s Bob Drury.
“Reaching 50km is a real milestone in any new pilot’s career, and somehow this film just captured that essence.”
The XC360 entries were shown on the big screen at the Coupe Icare in France on Saturday 24 September in a special XC360 half-hour slot in the film festival.
Jefim wins a Sup’Air Evo XC2 harness, thanks to the kind support of XC360 sponsor Sup’Air.
Congratulations Jefim for a really nice short film – we hope you enjoy your prize and go high and far in it.
