Icaro say their new Gravis paraglider fits right in the heart of the B class. It’s as much at home with thermalling, cross-country or hike-and-fly, and is suitable for EN-B newcomers.
They say it’s extremely easy to launch – a light pull on the As sees it rise smoothly overhead – with excellent passive safety. It’s also fun to fly, with precise and direct handling and a good glide, especially on bar, where they say it’s up with the top of its category.
The Gravis has a shark nose, and mini-ribs on both trailing and leading edge. It’s made from Skytex 32 and has only 40 cells, adding to its lightness and also helping to keep the price down. Available in five sizes and two standard colours.
