Flymaster are launching their new SD series of instruments, which incorporate an SD card offering extra data memory for added features.
The new-look bodies are shock absorbent, with “almost unbreakable” displays, according to Flymaster.
The instruments are available in varying degrees of complexity, from the basic Vario SD model for new pilots, rising all the way to the top-of-the-range Live SD, which replaces their popular Live (as used in the Red Bull X-Alps and PWCs).
The Live SD offers, amongst other things, live tracking, world airspace maps with user-defined alarms, altitude over the ground and an accurate calculation of arrival height.
The models are:
- Vario SD – basic model with no GPS
- GPS SD – For XC pilots
- GPS SD+ – Includes GSM module for live tracking and other useful safety functions
- NAV SD – for competition pilots
- LIVE SD – top of the range, successor to the LIVE
See Flymaster’s website for more information, and for stockists.
