
Double French win at PWC Superfinal
Maxime Pinot and Constance Mettetal are the new Superfinal champions
17 February, 2025, by Cross Country | Photos: PWCAWith the final task cancelled due to rain, Maxime Pinot and Constance Mettetal were declared overall winners of the 14th Paragliding World Cup Superfinal in Roldanillo. It was the second time both pilots have claimed the prestigious title, solidifying their status among the sport’s greats.
Maxime delivered an outstanding performance, winning three out of six tasks and dominating the field with remarkable consistency throughout the competition. Meanwhile, Constance’s achievement was equally impressive — not only did she dominate the women’s category, but she also finished sixth place overall, proving once again that she can compete at the highest level.

Despite the weather challenges which saw several tasks cancelled due to heavy rainfall, the Superfinal delivered intense racing, tactical flying, and unforgettable moments.

Sebastian Ospina (GBR) finished second and Thibault Voglet (BEL) third while Honorin Hamard (FRA) and Tim Rochas (SUI) finished fourth and fifth respectively. In the women’s category Keiko Hiraki (JPN) came second (33rd overall) and the US pilot Alexia Fischer took third. Cross Country was the winning team, ahead of Ozone and Niviuk.
