Airwave’s new research and development team have completed their new EN B paraglider, the Sport 5.
Using the latest in computer design programs, and “countless hours of testing”, Airwave say they have achieved a glider that they are very proud of. They say it has a better glide ratio and a lower sink rate than the Sport 4, plus a lower takeoff speed so is easier to launch.
The team add that it handles better and is easier to fly than the Sport 4, climbing well in thermals and cutting through air easily.
Four sizes, covering takeoff weights og 60 – 140kg, are certified EN B and it is available in three standard colours, or you can design your own colour scheme with Airwave’s ‘Colour Picker’ tool.
