Advance have unveiled the Theta ULS. Their “ultralight mid-B Adventure Tourer” fits between the Epsilon DLS and Iota DLS in their range.
Advance say the Theta ULS has the performance of a High-B wing and a high level of passive safety. ULS stands for Ultra Lightweight Structure, and it comes in at 3.15kg in the smallest size.
A new generation profile design has given the wing “significant performance increases”, and Advance say it has very pleasant handling. They have downsized the two smallest sizes to give better wing loadings for lighter pilots.
First deliveries to customers are expected from mid-April.
