Advance have released the fourth iteration of their popular Progress harness, which is aimed at new pilots as well as pilots who love the feel and safety of an upright harness.
“The new Progress 4 combines outstanding comfort, intuitive handling and comprehensive protection in a versatile midweight harness-rucksack system,” say Advance.

It features ergonomically shaped leg pads which provide precise handling in thermals and distribute pressure evenly. “Optimised back support delivers noticeably greater comfort on longer flights,” they add.
Back protection comes in the form of an inflatable protector which extends into the lumbar area. It can be filled either via an “exceptionally light” flowbag or the optional electric pump, which weighs 42g. “Despite its high level of protection, it impresses with its low weight and compact pack size,” say Advance.

The rucksack meanwhile has been completely redesigned. It features body-hugging shoulder straps for “excellent carrying comfort” and optimal load distribution. “Compact, comfortable and easy to use, the Progress 4 is ready for every adventure,” say Advance.
The Progress 4 is available in three sizes with the size M weighing 3.45kg.
