Woody Valley have published a safety notice concerning the possible accidental opening of the X-Rated 7 harness’ reserve parachute container during flight.
The safety notice is marked Critical, meaning all XR7 owners should read and act on it before they next fly the harness, but the solution is the simple addition of a nylon washer. The washer can be requested for free from your local dealer.

Woody Valley stress that the likelihood of an accidental opening is very slim. If you check the reserve handle pin is in the correct position during your routine pre-flight checks, there should not be a problem.
