Little Cloud’s performance mini, the Goose Mk2

Little Cloud have upgraded their performance glider, the Goose, to “increase its useable range without losing the fun factor”. The result is the Goose Mk2, which has a higher aspect ratio and greater than 10:1 glide angle.

It’s a “super performant” glider, aimed at pilors who might usually fly an EN C wing, although Little Cloud do not plan to certify the Goose Mk2, because of “the philosophy drift” of the EN norm. “There is a gap getting too big between real life and EN test”, they feel.

Little Cloud say the Goose Mk2’s characteristics include a fast inflation and easy take-off even in nil-wind. It is pitch-stable with direct handling, but progressive brake travel makes thermalling in lighter conditions easier. The brake travel is over 60cm, add Little Cloud.

The Goose MK2 has a thicker profile, which gives it better stability and collapse-resistance, and its slightly larger sizing makes it more comfortable for longer flights.

It is available in two sizes: L(21m2) and XL(22m2), weighing 4.2kg and 4.4kg.
