Tributes paid to Flying Frenchies star Tancrede Melet

Saturday 9 January, 2016

Tancrede Melet, who died last week in a ballooning accident, will be remembered by friends and family on Sunday 10 January 2016 at 3pm French time.

A Facebook post on the Flying Frenchies Facebook page explained:

The family and relatives of Tancred thank you for your messages of support. We invite you all to pay tribute to him in your own way – Sunday at 15h – from where you are. Light a candle, stretch out a slackline, to walk, to meditate, to drink a vegetable juice or eat a tartar of fresh seaweed… Everything that can make sense in your eyes and that reminds you of his rich personality.

The statement added that the funeral would be held in private, but a celebration of his life will take place in Chamonix, France in Spring.
