Ozone must be biting its nails as Aljaz Valic sneaks ahead on his Niviuk Icepeak to lead the Paragliding World Cup Superfinal after five tasks

Last night got pretty hectic, what with packing, showering and eating all at once, then waiting for Elena and Pal to come back from their cool long flights.

TODAY was another odd XCT day in that the first half was spent going to the mayor's office to have tea with him and smalltalk in his downtown office

Task 5 on Monday was a 72.4 km elapsed time task, with conditions most favourable at the start of the window

FINALLY I got to make a really nice flight in Turkey :-) It wasn't super far, it didn't take forever, and it wasn't even particularly scary - it was just a nice, quite difficult flight with a few low saves, and an efficient public transport retrieve thanks to the everpresent SUPER friendly locals that make Turkey special.

Saturday was the last day in Karaman, and Trias outflew everyone to land in Cappadocia. The rest of the group went there by bus the following day en route for the next stop, Beysehir.

Tasks of 62.6 km and 107.6 km were set for Friday and Saturday in Denizli, with Sunday being a rest day. Seiko Fukuoka Naville continued her domination of the women, winning both of the tasks to make it four out of four so far. Joachim Oberhauser (IT) and Alex Hofer (CH) won overall in tasks three and four, both on Ozone R10.2s.

Ozone's Luc Armant won task two of the Superfinal in Denizli, a short, racy task of 63 km that saw 88 pilots in goal. Seiko Fukuoka Naville was again the first woman.
