Honorin Hamard and Méryl Delferrière win PWC Superfinal 2023

French pilots Honorin Hamard and Méryl Delferrière won the 13th Paragliding World Cup Superfinal 2023 that finished in Baixo Guandu, Brazil on 16 March. 

Six tasks (74.58km, 80.70km, 92.62km, 75.58km, 92.18km and 89.06km) were scored in the competition, which took place between 5 and 16 March 2024. Honorin won for the second time in a row, and Méryl, who finished sixth overall, takes the women’s title from compatriot Constance Mettetal.

Just 0.1 of a point separated Baptiste Lambert (FR) and Joachim Oberhauser (IT)’s second and third places, and there were five French pilots in the top ten.

The brand new Team Winner prize was awarded to team Ozone, for the best team performance throughout the 2023 season.

Pilots now have a few weeks’ break before the 2024 season kicks off in Grindelwald – Interlaken, Switzerland on 4 May.
