On 19 July 2000, Dave Sharp became the first person to fly over 500 km on a hang glider. He flew his Air Atos north out of a small unknown town in Texas, USA. Only a few weeks later, Davis Straub reset the record at 347 miles, also out of Zapata. This is the story of Dave Sharp’s flight
