Burkhard Martens claims European gain of height record

Burkhard Martens has claimed a new European paragliding record for gain of height.

He gained 3,478m on the 10 June 2014, flying from Brauneck in Germany. He was flying a Skywalk Chili 3.

Burki Martens is well known as the author of the free-flight textbooks Cross Country Flying and Thermal Flying.
