Bruce Goldsmith is back at Airwave, at the helm in partnership with the paragliding manufacturer’s Brazilian distributor Roberto Galera.
‘Airwave Alive!’ their website announces, aongside Bruce’s smiling face and the promise of innovative and leading-edge paragliders to come, probably starting with an EN C wing.
The company had gone a little quiet since losing designer Bruce to Advance back in the spring of 2010. For Bruce, whose name has been synonymous with Airwave more on than off since 1989, this latest move must feel like something of a homecoming. An exciting one.
Airwave’s website announces a major update on all their gliders with better performing, safer and lighter wings, and promises that details of the range will be released soon.
Bruce writes the Icaristics column in Cross Country mgazine. Read his views on Deep Stall and why the the problem has recently reappeared, in issue 140 which is out now.
