Aërius’ Happy Bag is a quick-pack solution for pilots who need to gather their glider into a managable package quickly and rush back up to launch again.
The bag is large enough to accommodate tandem equipment, and is easy to use. Simply lay it on the ground, pop your bunched up glider, harness and helmet on top of it and draw up the cord around all of the kit. It creates a loosly-packed bundle that protects your glider without crushing its leading edge. An extra pocket accommodates clothing, water bottle etc.
It isn’t designed to go on long hikes with, but cushioned shoulder straps and an adjustable padded belt ensure it is comfortable to carry nevertheless.
The Happy Bag is made from robust 420D Oxford Nylon and costs US$130 (€95) plus VAT.
