Flytec are launching the Element Speed, a clear and easy-to-use flight instrument for non-XC pilots, in March 2016.
The instrument clearly displays information (ground- and airspeed, wind direction and wind speed, last thermal flown, glide ratio, distance and bearing to the launch site) in graphical and numerical formats.
The Element Speed uses Flytec’s tried-and-tested ‘domed’ keyboard with large, positive buttons for gloves-on usability.
The Element Speed is the second of what will eventually be four instruents in Flytec’s ‘ Element’ range. The Element Track (previously the ‘Element’), for cross-country pilots, is already out, and two further instruments will be announced later in the year.
