Apco have recently released the fourth incarnation of the Thrust wing, their mainstay, go-to wing for paramotor pilots who free-fly as well.
In the last ten years since the first Thrusts existed, “flying has come to be safer, more fun and less complicated”, say Apco, and each wing incarnation is an improvement on its predecessor.
With the Thrust IV, Apco say they have focussed on improving the wing’s rigidity, polishing its handling and optimising feedback, while maintaining maximum pilot comfort and safety.
The Thrust IV offers “the best possible agility with perfectly coordinated roll and yaw – centering on lift effortlessly, with light and precise handling”, they say.
Jam-packed with all the traditional Apco features – SRS® (Stall Recovery System), HIT valves and flexon battens, the Thrust IV has newly redesigned 20mm risers to suit all types of paramotors / trikes with different hangpoint systems. It has trimmers for fast cruising, new ball bearing accelerator pulleys and magnetic brake connectors with swivels to prevent brake line twists.
