Florida’s Quest Air flying centre would like to invite pilots, friends and family to the first annual octoberQuest fly-in, in Groveland, Florida on Saturday 17 October 2009.
The event will feature a costume contest, discounted tandem discovery rides for your friends or family and informal flying contests (duration, small XC tasks and spot landing). Not to forget the ‘Pulverize the Punkin’ contest, which will reward the most spectacular splattering. There will be an evening pizza party and clinics – please get in touch with organisers if you have any requests. And if you can’t make those dates, don’t worry as Quest Air will be hosting a series of informal fly-ins the third Saturday of every month from Oct 2009 – March 2010, providing the perfect excuse for pilots to escape to the Sunshine State this winter.
