Anders Beyer Brattli won the Ozone Chabre Open, which saw its last day on Friday. Simon Green was second and Eugen Moldovan was third.

Catherine Bartholdi won the Women’s prize, ahead of Tanya Ephgrave and Antje Daehler.

The comp saw good conditions at the start of the week, with the best task a 60km course from the take off on Chabre to east of the town of Gap. The second half of the week saw flyable days but two tasks were cancelled due to overdevelopment on the course line and then wind on the final day.

Anders wins a tandem sailplane flight with champion pilot Klaus Ohlmann of Quo Vadis, a local gliding centre.

The Ozone Chabre Open is a fun comp run each year in the south of France by meet director Jocky Sanderson and local organisers.
