Super Paragliding Testival

20 January, 2009

Do you fancy a paragliding event where a whole host of manufacturers come together in one place for a long weekend, in the (allegedly) most flyable place in the Northern Alps, for the primary purpose of allowing you to test fly their equipment and ask any questions you may have?

If so, you’ll need to earmark the bank holiday weekend of 21 – 24 May 2009 and get yourself to the Austrian town of Kössen in the Tyrol, for the first ever paragliding Testival. It will be held in the main (large and bar-equipped) landing field there, beneath the gentle north-facing slope, which is known for its gentle thermals and mild convergence. Any pilot who lands on the foam cube in the middle of the landing field will
win a free drink courtesy of Flugschule Kössen at the Pilots Bar.
