The morning of 1 February 2012 began overcast in Valle de Bravo, and failed to develop enough for a task to be run. Despite two different routes being provisionally set, in the end the task was cancelled, and the only gliders in the sky were heading the quick way back into town.
According to Andre Rainsford’s blog, the sky cleared after everyone had been stood down. Sod’s law, I think they call that.
This means there are only three more potential tasks in the Superfinal, so it’s getting exciting.
In the meantime, enjoy Herminio Cordido’s video of Task six, above, and cross fingers and toes that the predicted high cloud stays away for today’s task.
