Ozone have released their first parakite. The Vapor is designed for pilots seeking outstanding stability, agility and fun, while delivering exceptional performance for the category.
Aspect Ratio and cell count have been selected to keep it compact, agile, forgiving, but still offering performance when you need it, say Ozone.
“It’s the perfect first parakite for advanced paraglider pilots, or an intermediate parakite for newcomers to air sports,” say Ozone. “Its construction is exceptionally robust, engineered because we know you will be flying in far more demanding environments than just grassy Alpine slopes, embracing the elements.
“Although parakites excel in stronger laminar winds, the take-off behaviour has been precisely tuned. This means the Vapor can also be your mountain companion for early-morning descents down the valley, over dry terrain or snow,” they say.
The Vapor can “fly fast, dive very deep, lifts really high and glide far”. “We’ve worked very hard on providing a direct response and dynamic feel when desired, while offering a long brake travel for maintaining its accessibility for the category.
A pure three-line design, it delivers “maximum control”, whilst its dedicated bridle system allows for dynamic or mellow dives to suit your pilot level, say Ozone. “Depowering the wing is simple, thanks to its wooden safety handle.”
The Vapor comes in seven sizes, from 11 to 25 with a reduced size gap to cover all pilot weights, terrains, and conditions, say Ozone.
