Malin Lobb launches Pure Paragliding and ActiveAir

British SIV instructor and paragliding coach Malin Lobb is launching two new paragliding projects, Pure Paragliding and ActiveAir, after announcing he will leave Flyeo at the end of the 2026 season.

Malin has spent the past ten years with Flyeo, where he was co-owner and helped develop the Annecy-based operation into one of the best-known SIV and advanced pilot training schools internationally.

His new venture, Pure Paragliding, will continue his focus on SIV and pilot development. “This will include significantly expanded pre-course training, greater use of technology and the option of accommodation alongside courses,” Malin said.

Much of the new training material was filmed during a month-long training trip to Turkey and will be delivered through ActiveAir, a new online learning platform that Malin is launching with acro pilot and former Apple engineer Kuba Mazur.

“ActiveAir is due to go live on 4 September 2026. It will combine a free monthly podcast with structured online courses covering SIV and wing control, cross-country flying and broader pilot development,” Malin said.

Malin said the two projects are an evolution of the coaching and training he has been doing at Flyeo, but give him the opportunity to rebuild the programme from the ground up.
