ON REVIEW: FLYMASTER GPS LS2

The GPS LS was Flymaster’s second-level instrument, which added GPS functionality to their Vario LS in the same diminutive package. Now, with the latest version, Flymaster say, “We upgraded everything.”

The new GPS LS2 was released in March this year and is more substantial than the previous version, with a bigger screen area and bigger dimensions – including a doubling of the thickness. It still feels light in the hand – 169g on our scales – but is 67g heavier than the original. That extra size and weight does, however, bring more functionality.
