Cross Country magazine are running a short-film competition via their Facebook pages, top prize being a Sup'Air Evo XC 2 paragliding harness. Closing date for entries is 31 August 2010.

Women stormed to victory at the German Hang Gliding Open in Hochries last week. Natalia Petrova won the Open outright, and Corinna Schwiegershausen (second in the open) is the new overall German champion, with Konrad Schwab top male.

Flymovies have released their trailer for the Hang Gliding World Championships 2010 that took place at Tegelberg, Germany, this month.

The Nissan Outdoor Games is back for its sixth consecutive summer. Five teams of sportspeople and filmmakers will each make a five-minute film, this time in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France. The fifth team's director's chair is still vacant - Julbo are running a competition to fill this role.
