Airwave's paraglider designer of nearly ten years, Bruce Goldsmith, is set to leave in the Spring, to join Thomas Ripplinger on Advance's design team.

Johnny Perez, an Argentinian pilot living in Miami USA, scooped the top prize in the Cross Country Magazine Subscribers’ Prize Draw on 1 Dec winning himself an Advance paraglider of his choice. Johnny, an XC mag subscriber for five years, said, “When I got the news I called Cross Country. A second later I was jumping all over the place. The people in my office thought I was crazy!”
