XC Radio Headset

Lightweight, high quality helmet headset – perfect for crystal clear communications for paraglider and hang glider pilots.

The headset is suitable for 2 metre radios and features a ‘push-to-talk’ (PTT) which can be located on rear or side of helmet for easy communications. This removes the need for fiddly finger-mounted PTTs.

A high quality microphone boom can be located inside a full face helmet, or out in front of your mouth with an open face helmet. 

The speaker can be fixed inside the ear padding. All necessary fixings and fastening are included – tie wraps, sticky pads and velcro.

OPTIONS

Please be careful when specifying which radio option you require. Incorrect selection may cause your radio to misfunction or be damaged. 

An easy way  to work out which version you need is to measure from the centre of the 2.5 jack to the centre of the 3.5mm jack.

For the Alinco/Icom/Midland headset option the distance is 10mm.

For Kenwood/Baofeng and most twin jack Chinese radios the distance is 12mm.

For Yaesu, you will need to measure the distance to check which version you need – many Yaesu radios are 10 mm but please check.
