GIN Wide Open 2015: Dates announced

Organisers of the GIN Wide Open friendly competition have announced details of the 2015 event. It will be held in Tolmin, Slovenia from 4-11 July.

Entry for registration opens on 26 December 2014 at 13:00 GMT. The advice is to hurry if you want a place –  they were all sold out in a few days last time, and they are expecting places to go even faster this year.

 We’re very excited to announce dates and venue for next year’s GIN Wide Open. The GIN Wide Open is fast becoming THE fun paragliding event of the year. In 2015 we’re off toTolmin, Slovenia. The Julian Alps of Slovenia provide an ideal venue for a fun-filled competition, with plentiful landouts and easy XC flying with dramatic backdrops.

The week-long event is set to run 4-11 July  and once again we’ll have all the extras: thorough task briefs and debriefs, talks from top pilots on everything from competition psychology to how to thermal better, talks from GIN pilots, parties and prizes galore.

The GWO will use the latest tracking and scoring technologies to both enhance safety and make your event hassle-free. Once again we’ll have over 30,000Euros of prizes to give away.

Registration starts at 1300 GMT on December 26th.  It’s likely to book out immediately so set your alarm clocks!
