Antoine Girard arrived on top of the Dent de Crolles above St Hilaire du Touvet in France early in the morning on 20 June, to win the fourth Airtour.
Despite a northerly wind he managed to fly down to the landing zone to finish in style.
The hike-and fly competition started at the take-off at St Hilaire at 9am on Sunday 15 June, so Antoine completed the entire 325km tour in five days!
Antoine was the winner of the very first Airtour back in 2011, his victory helping to secure him a much-coveted place in the Red Bull X-Alps in 2013, when he finished third.
Fifty-one pilots set out on this year’s Airtour, although a few have had to pull out due to injury. Those still out on the course have until 9am Sunday morning to finish.
